Management a marketing of the project Sports talent of the year and its implementation for period 2014-2015

Title: Management and marketing of the project Sports talent of the year and its implementation for period 2014-2015 Targets: The aim of this thesis is to propose improvements of the project Sports talent of the year for period 2014 - 2015. The project is focused on healthy lifestyle of the primary school pupils in the Czech Republic. The author based on analysis of previous years which were realized by a profit organization. His own contributions are made by the implementation of the project. Methods: There is a case study used to analyze the information about the project Sports talent of the year. Analysis of the conditions is carried out with the aid of PEST analysis, Porter's model of five forces, and analysis of resources. SWOT analysis is applied to synthesize previous analyzes. Results: The study revealed gaps especially in the management activities of the project Sports talent of the year. The greatest gaps can be seen in the branch of staffing, marketing and communications and financing. Aplication and evaluation of sponsoring for rhythmic gymnastics competition

Title: Application and evaluation of sponsoring for rhythmic gymnastics competition Objectives: The main objective is the offering of sponsorship packages that have been made previously to former and current sponsors in order to entice them to come back and stay. The next sub-objective is to establish cooperation with new potential partners for competition in rhythmic gymnastics with a tailor-made offer. Methods: In the work are used the methods of quantitative and qualitative research. The method of written polling is applied to former and current sponsors and the method of direct mail and individual semi-structured interview is applied to the selected potential sponsors. Results: During the data collection it was found that the former and current sponsors would prefer a more diverse list of options. Based on the results new sponsorship packages were compiled and especially great demanded list of advertisement options. Thanks to some interviews some new sponsors were added to the competition. Title: Sports event management: Mayor's Lax Cup 2015 Objectives: Analysis of 4th annual Mayor's Lax Cup, organized by SK Lacrosse Jižní Město. Subsequent suggestions for improvement in next years. Methods: Survey uses case study as a method. Data is collected through participant observation, documents analysis, and semi-structured interview. Conducting of SWOT analysis based on collected data. Results: Mayor's Lax Cup is a promising sports event with plenty of room for improvement. Based on these imperfections I made a list of suggestions and proposals for next years. Title: Financial plan of the golf tournament Automechanika Golf Cup 2021 Objective: The main objective of this thesis is to construct financial plan of golf tournament which is based on the wishes and demands of company Automechanika, a.s. who is the submitter of this tournament. Supportive goals for the main objective are: implementation of semi- structured interview, analysis of annual report of 2020, set up a complete schedule of the day. Methods: This thesis is using qualitative method with the help of interview that are accomplished with representative of company Automechanika, a.s. and Sokrates Golf & Country Club. Detected information will result to organization and plan of golf tournament. Results: Results of this thesis shows Financial position of Automechanika, a.s. thanks to analysis of annual report 2020. Thanks to this analysis is clear that organazing of a golf tournament will not be a problém for this company. Part of results are expenses and revenues roster for hosting golf tournament Automechanika Golf Cup 2021. Final amount of expenses is 205.800,- Kč. This amount was lowered thanks to closing sponsorship contract and the final amount reached 160.800,- Kč. Key words: Organization, management, planning, sports event, budget, finance.

Perspectives of organizing a winter lacrosse tournament

Title: Perspectives of lacrosse tournament organisation Objectives: The main objective is analysis of the previous editions of the tournament organised by SK Lacrosse Jižní Město, and coming up with suggestions on how to improve it in the following years. Methods: Case Study is a method used for conducting the survey. Data is collected through documents analysis and semi-structured interviews. Based on the collected data, analysis of the internal environment is carried out. Results: Winter lax cup is a well organised event for it's size with a potential to grow and annual profit. His biggest virtue is the modern sport hall where the tournament takes place. However his weak factor is small support of the event from sponsors. The biggest danger for the tournament organisation is taking over the hall by floorball teams. Motivation of the volunteers at sports events of the organization Tri pro zdravi

Title: The motivation of the volunteers at sports events od the organisation Tri pro zdravi. Goals: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is the assessment of the motivation of volunteers who participated in events organised by Tri pro zdravi. Another aim consists in fomulating proposals on how to raise the motivation od volunteers to return and participate in the events again. Methods: This work is based on qualitative data collection methods: observation and in-depth interview. As a quantitative data collection method, a questionnaire has been used. Results: There are differen stimuli that may influence the motivation od the volunteers. The volunteers od past events od the organisation Tri pro zdravi were mainly influenced by internal motives. External motives such as small gifts of a free starting fee, however, were also quite effective. Those volunteers who do not want to paticipate in these events anymore mostly did not feel needed. Title: Management of the project Jr. NBA League 2016 Objectives: The main aim of this master thesis is to elaborate a detailed analysis of the Jr. NBA League 2016 management, point out its strengths and weaknesses, potential opportunities and threats, and according to these discoveries to make a list of proposals and recommendations leading to a removing the weaknesses, an elimination of potential threats and thus to a complete development, an increasing of attractiveness and improvement of an organization of the next Jr. NBA League seasons. Methods: To achieve the aims of this master thesis were used methods of a case study, a semi-structured interview, participating observations, a document's analysis and a SWOT analysis. Results: The master thesis describes the process of this, above mentioned, sports project for children. A part of this thesis is focused on all periods necessary to organization of this type of event. Thanks to the case study were discovered many imperfections e.g. financial and communication problems. Because of these discoveries were, by the author of the thesis, proposed 8 detailed drafts to improve this project. These drafts can be also used for other similar projects. Organizational and security aspects of International Sport Events for youth - case study of Christmas price of Prague

Title: Organizational and safety aspects of international sports competitions for youth - Prague Christmas prize case study Objective: The main objective of this thesis is to develop proposals for improvement of the Prague Christmas Prize organization and to create security measures for this competition and for similar competitions in the Czech Republic. Supportive goals for the main objective are: SWOT analysis of the competition, finding the funding opportunities for sporting events in the Czech Republic and evaluation of the application of proposals for improvement of the competition held in 2013. Methods: The qualitative case study method is used in this thesis. The data are obtained by document analysis and group discussion. The acquired data will result into the SWOT analysis. Results: Results of this thesis consist of proposals for improvement of the quality of the Prague Christmas Prize and of development of simple safety measures for this competition. It can serve as a simple guide for ensuring security on similar sporting events. Key words: Organization, management, budget, risk analysis, sport funding.
